Understanding the Dashboard

Learn how to navigate and use the Resumedit dashboard effectively

The Resumedit dashboard is your central hub for managing all your resumes, cover letters, and job applications. This guide will help you navigate and make the most of all available features.

Dashboard Overview

When you log in, you'll see your main dashboard with several key sections:

Quick Actions

At the top of your dashboard, you'll find quick action buttons:

  • Build New Resume: Start creating a new resume from scratch
  • Analyze Resume: Upload an existing resume for ATS analysis
  • Create Cover Letter: Generate a new cover letter

Resume Management

Your dashboard displays all your resumes organized into sections:

  • Original Resumes: Resumes you've created manually
  • AI Enhanced: Resumes that have been improved using our AI features
  • Analysis History: Past ATS analyses and improvement suggestions

Job Tracker

The job tracker section shows:

  • All your job applications in a kanban board view
  • Application status (Saved, Applied, Interview, Offer, etc.)
  • Upcoming reminders and deadlines
  • Application statistics and success metrics

Navigation Menu

The sidebar navigation provides quick access to:

  • Dashboard: Overview of all your activity
  • Build New Resume: Create a new resume
  • Analyze Resume: Get ATS scores and suggestions
  • Original Resumes: View and manage your resumes
  • AI Enhanced: View AI-improved versions
  • Analysis History: Review past analyses
  • Jobs: Manage your job applications
  • Cover Letters: Create and manage cover letters
  • Templates: Browse and preview templates

Key Features

Resume Cards

Each resume is displayed as a card showing:

  • Resume name and last modified date
  • Template used
  • Quick actions (Edit, Download, Delete)
  • ATS score (if analyzed)

Search and Filter

Use the search bar to quickly find specific resumes. You can filter by:

  • Resume name
  • Template type
  • Date created or modified
  • ATS score range

Statistics

Your dashboard displays helpful statistics:

  • Total resumes created
  • Average ATS score
  • Jobs tracked
  • AI credits remaining
